This is a 100% free Excel-based Flash-card program that works with any language but comes with New Testament Greek (Koine) words.
Features:
- Helps you memorize words faster by automatically sorting the words into "stacks" based on how well you know them.
- Very easy to use.
- Prints the words as double-sided flash cards in various sizes.
- Choose how fast you want to view them, which lessons to practice, etc.
- Choose what you want to practice: For example, you can practice just nouns and adjectives found 50 times or more in the New Testament.
- Add your own words/phrases quickly and easily.
- Sound pronunciation functionality intended in future version.
- No program installation required! (Free font installation is required however for the Greek words to display correctly.)
This program was begun with the primary purpose to help me in my studies, but I pray it will be of benefit to others who choose to use it as well, and ultimately aid in the understanding and appreciation of the Holy Scriptures. If this is accomplished, to God be the glory!
A future version is planned which would pronounce the Greek and/or English words as they are displayed or selected.
Vocabulary is taken from Essentials of New Testament Greek by Ray Summers, comprising about 75% of the New Testament (given you know the conjugations).
You may modify the file for other languages as well.
